Resounding success of online booking system

One of our recent customers, Ards and North Down Borough Council's HWRC booking system has been highlighted in a recent news article.

The Council says the new system for managing access into the borough’s nine Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) has been a success.

Alliance councillor Patricia Morgan, who chairs the council’s Environment Committee, said: “Business waste and waste from outside the borough are both factors that have historically led to excessive waste disposal costs for our domestic ratepayers"

"This has also damaged our prospects of achieving challenging new recycling targets, so the new online booking system is helping to tackle both of these issues and is saving money for all ratepayers."

"The system is easy to use and the sites are easier to access, making waste disposal a much more pleasant experience."

The Belfast Telegraph have released an article with the full story.
