London Borough of Bromley go-live with our industry leading HWRC Booking System

The London Borough of Bromley (LBB) is an outer London borough with two Reuse and Recycling Centres (RRC), situated at Waldo Road and Churchfields Road. With approximately 300,000 visitors annually, LBB determined that a booking system was necessary at Churchfields Road to manage traffic flow and visitor volumes during the closure of the Waldo Road site for depot infrastructure improvements.

The flexibility of our ESB platform enables us to accommodate unique system requirements and therefore blow expectations out of the water. The HWRC Booking System created for LBB doesn’t only manage congestion and prevent traders from mis-using the sites, it also manages and monitors levels of DIY type waste and flags when an address has exceeded their 4 DIY visits in a 4-week rolling period.

A DVLA look-up was also integrated on the form as an optional extra. The look-up determines the make and colour of the vehicle from the registration plate provided on the form. This feature is particularly useful as the vehicle details pulled from the DVLA database are passed through to the staff on site.
