874 miles is the figure you will most likely get when you ask the question, how far is it from the top of the UK to the bottom of the UK?
It’s only a little bit more than how far apart out our most northerly Council’s Aberdeenshire and Moray are from our newest customer Torbay Council!
Torbay are another authority who are joining the ESB family to utilise our HWRC booking system.
Our HWRC booking system is already proving its worth everywhere it goes because it’s good at its job. It’s saving money, time and getting plenty of positive feedback, not only from officers and members, but also from the residents themselves.
The system allows for little to no administration in order to manage your bookings and it will provide you with information and data to help you shape your service that you have simply not had access to in the past.
It was borne from a need to socially distance at HWRC sites, but a little over a month from our first customers going live, our customers are already seeing how it can benefit them as a permanent fixture to the way they run their service.
Need to know where to more effectively allocate your resources? Look at the usage and booking data. We are already seeing strong trends in the data after so little time that services are already using it to make positive changes to the way they operate making them more efficient and effective while also keeping residents happy.
Need to close a site down at short notice and let everyone know? Let the system do it, previously you would face a deluge of complaints at shutting a site down at short to no notice with people turning up on the day and complaining. Getting rid of waste is an expensive business so making sure the people that are coming to the site are meant to be there and are depositing waste they should be is an important task that is made manageable by having a system do the heavy lifting.
