ESB 22.04 Released
Pentagull is pleased to announce the release of version 22.04 of the ESB platform.
What's new for 22.04?
A Copy button has been added to the e-mail template editor to easily allow you to copy the entire contents of a template into a new template.
You can now specify the value of the "autocomplete" attribute for text form fields on the new MVC-based form renderer. The value is set on the Edit Form Field page within system configuration and you can pick from a standardised list of values as defined by the W3C. The purpose of this attribute is to assist browsers when they attempt to auto-fill a form field by telling them the type of data that is expected, e.g. a first name, last name, telephone number etc. You can also set this attribute to Off which will indicate to the browser that you want autocomplete to be disabled on a particular form field, however note that some modern browsers will still offer autocomplete suggestions even when the value is set to off.
On the Related Items tab it is now possible to hide the "Items related to this address" section, so the tab only shows items that are directly related to the item through a relationship field and not via a related address. This is useful in situations where it would be confusing or otherwise undesirable to display items related to the address to the end user. This is achieved by a new checkbox available on the Edit Object Template page in System Configuration under the Related Items settings panel.
