ESB 19.07 Released

Pentagull is pleased to announce the immediate availability of version 19.07 of the ESB platform. This release primarily focuses on fixes and stability improvements.

What's new for End-Users

When performing bulk actions in the work basket you can now select and deselect all rows with a single click. The work basket will also remember your previous page number and page size when you return to it after viewing an item.

What's new for System Configurators

We are continuing our work to migrate the entire System Configuration module to MVC, and this release contains migrated versions of the Permissions, Self-Service settings, User Tokens and E-mail Viewer pages. We’ve also introduced a Configuration Notes field against form fields so you can use it to document anything that might help describe the purpose or function of the field to help other System Configurators in future.

There has also been a lot of work to improve various aspects of the import/export functionality so that you can more reliably copy object template definitions between different installations.

What's new for Developers

We’ve updated the AjaxControlToolkit and Newtonsoft. Json libraries to the latest release so you can benefit from the latest fixes and enhancements in these components.

Waste Fridge
When waste rules change, Pentagulls flexible HWRC booking systems make the difference.

The current shortage of specialist treatment capacity for fridges and freezers is creating a difficult situation for councils across the UK. With processing capacity severely constrained, some councils have had to suspend collections, limit the number of cooling appliances residents can bring to HWRCs, or stop accepting them altogether. For residents, the message is simple: the rules have changed. For councils, however, changing the rules is only the beginning. They also need an effective way to communicate those changes to residents and manage what happens when people arrive at an HWRC
