We are delighted to announce another go-live! Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council have recently launched our HWRC Booking and Permit System, marking a significant milestone in streamlining site access and enhancing operational efficiency.

The current shortage of specialist treatment capacity for fridges and freezers is creating a difficult situation for councils across the UK. With processing capacity severely constrained, some councils have had to suspend collections, limit the number of cooling appliances residents can bring to HWRCs, or stop accepting them altogether. For residents, the message is simple: the rules have changed. For councils, however, changing the rules is only the beginning. They also need an effective way to communicate those changes to residents and manage what happens when people arrive at an HWRC
